研究领域及成果

长期从事模式识别、机器学习、图像处理等领域的研究,在该领域取得一定成绩,在《Information Sciences》、《Signal Processing》、《Image and Vision Computing》、《Pattern Recognition Letters》、《计算机学报》、《计算机研究与发展》、《电子学报》、PAKDD等国内外杂志与会议上发表论文20余篇。

为本科生主讲课程有《微机原理与汇编语言》、《数据结构》、《计算机前沿技术》,指导本科生论文30余篇;为研究生开设《模式识别》、《神经网络》、《算法设计》等课程,指导培养硕士研究生10余名。

Research Field and Achievements

His research interests include pattern recognition, image processing and machine learning. Recent research topics include sparse representation and low-rank approximation for high-dimensional data, clustering and classification of high-dimensional data, and reconstruction of super-resolution from low quality images. His work has found broad applications in areas such as segmentation of natural images, face recognition, aligning and rectifying images. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles.
