研究领域及成果

长期从事光子晶体、电磁超介质和表面等离子光学方面的研究,对该领域已经有深入的认识,并发展了一套成熟的理论方法用于探索相关的研究课题。已经在《Phys. Rev. Lett.》, 《Phys. Rev. A》, 《Phys. Rev. B》, 《Phys. Rev. E》, 《Appl. Phys. Lett.》, 《J. Appl. Phys.》, 《Opt. Lett.》, 《Opt. Express》, 《New. J. Phys.》, 《Plasmonics》, 《Europhys. Lett.》 等国际权威杂志上发表论文近40篇,撰写专著1部。其中,关于可调控负折射的研究成果发表在Phys. Rev. Lett.上,被Nature Publishing Group Asia Materials报导,关于外加磁场调控的电磁隐身通道的研究结果发表在New J. Phys.上,被Europhysics News,Science Daily,The Daily Telegraph等多家杂志和网站报导。多次参加本领域的国际学术会议,并作大会邀请报告或口头报告。受Intech出版公司邀请,为专著《Wave Propagation》和《Metamaterial》分别撰写其中的一章。

Research Field and Achievements

Dr. Liu’s research interests include photonic crystals, metamaterials, and plasmonics, he has developed a particular method in investigating the relevant subjects and presided several research projects. His academic achievements consist of nearly 40 published journal papers in 《Phys. Rev. Lett.》, 《Phys. Rev. A》, 《Phys. Rev. B》, 《Phys. Rev. E》, 《Appl. Phys. Lett.》, 《J. Appl. Phys.》, 《Opt. Lett.》, 《Opt. Express》, 《New. J. Phys.》, 《Plasmonics》, 《Europhys. Lett.》,《J. Phys.: Condens. Mater》,1 monograph, and 2 book chapters. The work on magnetically manipulable negative index material was published on Phys. Rev. Lett., and highlighted by Nature Publishing Group Asia Materials. The work on magnetically tunable hiding portal was published in New J. Phys., and reported by Europhysics News,Science Daily,The Daily Telegraph. He attended many international academic conferences and gave the oral talks or invited talks.
