许序雅,男,1958年2月出生,重庆市涪陵区人,现为浙江师范大学人文学院教授、硕士生导师

研究领域及成果

长期从事中亚史、中西文化交流史、非洲史和历史教学法的研究,在该领域取得一定成绩,在《世界宗教研究》、《史学理论研究》《中国历史地理论丛》、《中亚学刊》、《中国边疆史地研究》等杂志上发表论文50余篇,出版著作5部,二项成果获浙江省哲学社会科学研究成果三等奖。

近三年教学情况

为本科生主讲课程有《世界古代史》、《世界中世纪史》、《中西文化交流史》、《宗教文化概论》等,指导本科生论文22篇;为研究生开设《中西文化交流史研究导论》、《史学发展前沿》、《西方文化史》等课程,指导培养硕士研究生12名。

Xuya, male, born in February 1958, Fuling District of Chongqing, is the professer and master tutor of Humanities College of Zhejiang Normal University.


Education Background

1979. 9-1983.7, read in the History Department of Hangzhou University and received a bachelor’s degree in history.

1983.9-1986.7, read in the History Department of Guizhou Normal University and received a master’s degree in history. The major is world history.

1995.9-1999.1, read in the History Department of Zhejiang University and received a doctorate in history. The major is ancient Chinese history.

2007.4-2007.5, as the visiting scholar went to the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with funding by the China Scholarship Council.


Work Experiences

1986.12-1991.2, working in the Institute of History of Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences.

Since 1991.3,  teaching in the History Department of Zhejiang Normal University.

Honorable Titles and Awards

Became the academic leader of Zhejiang Province in 2002.9;

Became the second national M.Ed.excellent teacher in 2010.10;

Research Field and Achievements

Professor Xu has been engaged in the research of Central Asia’s History,Chinese-Western Cultural Exchanges History,African History and History Teaching for long time, and has made some achievements in these areas. He has been published morn than 50 theses in Studies In World Religions, Historiography Quarterly, Journal Of Chinese Historical Geography, Journal of central Asia, China’s Borderland History and Geography Studies and other journals, 5 books, and two achievements has been awarded the Zhejiang Provincial philosophy and social science research results third prize.

Awards

1. Thesis of "the Status and Role of Turks in Samanid Dynasty", which won the eighth Zhejiang provincial government philosophy and social science research outstanding achievement third prize in 1999;

2. Translation of "Ottoman Empire", which won the fourteenth Zhejiang provincial government philosophy and social science research outstanding achievement third prize in 2008.


Teaching and Supervision during Last 3 Years

Courses for undergraduates with "Ancient World History", "Medieval World History", "History of Chinese-Western Cultural Exchanges", "Introduction to religious culture" and so on, and guiding 22 theses of undergraduate;
