个人简介

郑荣泉,男,1969年出生,博士,教授,主要从事两栖动物保护遗传学和经济动物(蛙类)分子育种研究。现为浙江师范大学动物学、生态学硕士生导师,浙江师范大学特种水产研究所所长。

研究领域及成果

主要从事两栖爬行动物生理生态、保护遗传学和系统地理学研究;并以蛙类等经济动物为对象,开展功能基因挖掘与利用及分子辅助育种研究。主持或参与国家自然科学基金项目3项,主持浙江省重大科技专项1项,浙江省自然科学基金2项,以第一或通讯作者发表论文50余篇,其中SCI 论文15篇,编写和参编教材3部,获国家发明专利5项,获浙江省科技进步三等奖1项。

本科生主讲课程:《动物学》、《生物统计学》; 为研究生主讲课程:《高级生态学》、《动物行为学》、《生物统计学》已培养硕士研究生15名,在读研究生8名。


Profile

Dr. Rongquan Zheng has a special interest in conservation genetics, phylogeography, adaptive evolution and behavior ecology of Chinese endangered amphibians (e.g. giant spiny frog). He has published ca. 50 peer-reviewed papers and three book chapters in these areas, and has received professional award for his achievements in the genetic study and molecular improvement of economic animal from Zhejiang Provincial Government. He is currently a professor in the College of Chemistry and Life Sciences at Zhejiang Normal University and director of Institute of Special Aquaculture Resource. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in advanced ecology, biostatistics and animal behaviour.

Research Field and Achievements

My present research interests include conservation genetics, phylogeography, adaptive evolution and behavior ecology of Chinese endangered amphibians (e.g. giant spiny frog). I also focus on Mining and utilization of functional genes of economic animal, and apply molecular techniques to assist with artificial breeding of animals.
